Our Vision
A Kanha landscape where people and nature thrive.
Our Mission
Empowering forest dwelling communities through contextual education and nature-based livelihoods.

Why Kanha
Tribal families around Kanha have compromised levels of education and nutrition and few paths for upward mobility. But there is immense potential to leverage these communities’ symbiotic relationship with nature to improve people’s wellbeing and enhance the local ecosystem.

What We Do
Our community-centric approach activates the knowledge and skills of forest dwelling families. The Earth Focus team primarily acts as the backbone or convening platform, driving the vision, strategy, operations and innovative work across education and livelihoods. We partner with implementation experts for our core programs and are directly involved in our pilot initiatives.
EDUCATION
LIVELIHOODS
Our Projects
Education
We build foundational learning, deliver contextual modules, and bolster teachers’ capacity towards quality education outcomes in 14 villages.
Livelihoods
We leverage nature-based solutions to improve household income and nutrition levels.
